Biography

International teacher and personal trainer of yoga, martial arts, and functional fitness, with 25-years of experience in the mind and movement arts and 10 years teaching experience. Ryan is qualified in yoga, martial arts, Budokon, functional fitness (kettlebells, TRX, vipr) and he is also a primal movement specialist. Classes taught at Gymbox are yoga and UFC Fit. Working with many clients, including A-list celebrities, professional athletes and royalty, Ryan has a truly unique passion and joy for helping people create freedom in their bodies. His classes are rooting and playful, yet athletic and challenging, with sweat and smiles in abundance.

How does Gym ox as a brand reflect your personality?

When it's time to work out I go HARD but I also love to let my hair down at a good party! I hate the norm and love being different and around creativity. I think it's good to have a balance and Gymbox definitely has that!

What music style describes you?

Impossible! One day I'm rock and roll, the next soulful house, then 80s to world music! For me, variety in life is the key!

What is your guilty pleasure?

Cake and Custard

What is your favourite thing about Gymbox?

On the way to the gym you sometimes feel tired but when you walk in Gymbox you're energised! Seeing others around you setting high standards is a motivation to keep working on your game and reach new heights!
