BRING ON MAY 17th
We’ve spent the last few weeks shivering in pub gardens just to spend time with friends. So you’ll be over the moon to hear that soon, you can return to getting hideously sweaty together. Yes, London’s hottest classes are BACK and we can’t wait to get cracking. From your old favourites (yes, even our aerial category) to brand new creative classes, our unique timetable’s got plenty to keep you busy. Plus, with our Very Personal Trainers on the gym floor once more, it looks like we’ll all be getting back to business. Read on for a flavour of what you can look forward to… whatever you go for, it’s going to be spicy.
NEW CLASS: PIXELWHIP
Welcome to the underground rave experience where you don’t just feel the rhythm – you see it flowing all around you. With your LED whip in hand, you’ll trace, lace and chase the tempo of techno and house out of the darkness, glowing in a hypnotic whirl of colour. Is the dancefloor alive, or is it just a trick of the light?
Tuesday 6.30pm, Bank / Thursday 6.30pm, Ealing / Wednesday 6.45pm, Holborn / Tuesday 7.15pm, Westfield London
NEW CLASS: THE PORTAL
Enter The Portal and leave your world behind. In this unique meditation, you’ll feel your senses heighten as the healing powers of the universe conduct through the gateway of your own copper pyramid. With gentle movement, sound therapy and chakra focus, this safe space transports you to an energetic sanctuary, receiving a flow of balancing vibrations to connect spirit, body and mind.
Monday 7.30pm, Ealing / Tuesday 6.00pm, Elephant & Castle / Monday 7.30pm, Farringdon
GET TO GRIPS WITH JIU JITSU
We’ve been grappling with all sorts this past year or so, but none of it’s quite up there with Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. This self-defensive martial art teaches you that whatever your ability, opponent or size, you can have more strength in your fingers than some people have in their entire body. What’s not to love? But if you’re new to the floor and want to know more, No-Gi is BJJ without the kit or the formalities – giving you a ground-based class that’s something between self-defence and martial arts.
A POST-LOCKDOWN LIFT
We’ve teamed up with London Strength, the ultimate weightlifting club based at Farringdon who are offering the most comprehensive 6-week beginners Olympic weightlifting course available starting May 18th. Delivered by British record holders and national champions, their community comprises of a "leave your ego at the door" and an open minded approach to training. Click here for more info and you’ll be in good hands to learn all that you need to know to train Olympic Weightlifting.
BACK ON THE AIR
You’ve not been able to enjoy it in months, but Aerial classes are BACK. Strap in for some Superfly action, where you jump, float and glide in a harness for a zero-gravity workout. Escape the world and find your own from the comfort of a hammock Cocoon. Build the upper body strength of an acrobat and unleash your inner Cirque du Soleil at Aerial Hoop and Trapeze. Whatever your mood, whatever your level, we’re SO ready to hang out.
RIDE ON TIME
The capital’s clubs may still be in hibernation for a little while longer, but if you’re really craving some raving, our spin classes are just the thing. Bringing all the bangers, tap backs and sweaty beastings every body needs, Euphoria’s the sure-fire way to get back in the saddle. The lights are flashing. The tunes are pumping. The bikes may be static but we’re still heading to party town.
COME OUT SWINGING
Smash the techniques of combat styles from around the world. Team Tieu is back for 1-1 sessions with top trainers and boxing coaches to make you feel there’s no title out of reach. Pop on your gloves and work on defensive and offensive kicks, punches and clinches, or put yourself through anaerobic hell for a boxing workout tougher than most. There’s Killer Combat, Muay Thai, Counterpunch and plenty more. One thing’s for sure: the bag is in for one hell of a battering.
